Job description
Our global HR team, managed from our headquarters in Arnhem, consists of three dedicated professionals supporting our international organization with entities in seven countries. Each team member contributes to a broad range of HR activities, and together we continuously develop and strengthen our global HR discipline.
As a Junior HR Officer, you will support the smooth running of our daily HR operations. You will play an important role in maintaining accurate HR administration, supporting payroll processes, and helping colleagues with practical HR questions. This role offers a great opportunity to grow your HR skills in an international environment where collaboration across borders is part of everyday life.
What you’ll do
Ensure an efficient and accurate payroll administration process by tracking all HR mutations and preparing monthly reports for our local payroll partners across countries.
Maintain accurate employee administration throughout the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring all documentation is complete and properly stored.
Register new employees and manage required documentation in line with local legislation.
Schedule onboarding activities and prepare new hire packages.
Draft and process employment contracts and addendums.
Process illness and absence notifications.
Keep employee overviews, organization charts, and HR dashboards up to date.
Collaborate closely with external payroll and HR partners in each country and with relevant governmental organizations.
Act as a first point of contact for operational HR questions from colleagues across Europe.
Contribute to HR improvement initiatives by providing input, supporting rollouts, and helping to streamline processes.
Provide support with Office Management activities to ensure efficient daily operations at our Arnhem headquarters.
Job requirements
What you’ll bring to the team
Some experience or internship exposure in HR administration or payroll support.
An educational background in Human Resource Management or a related field.
A structured and accurate working style with strong attention to detail.
A collaborative, service-oriented mindset and a proactive attitude towards helping colleagues.
A sense of responsibility, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
Basic understanding of HR systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Excel.
Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Availability for at least 28–32 hours per week.
Comfort with a hybrid working setup, with at least three days per week in our Arnhem office.
Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, fast-growing, and international environment.
